We kept Congress from selling public lands - Now we need your help to take the next step!

Our collective voice makes a difference!

ree

Last week, nationwide grassroots action from advocates, businesses, and public lands lovers stopped a provision in the House budget bill that would have sold off over half a million acres of national public lands in Utah and Nevada. This is a huge victory for everyone who raised their voice, and for public lands supporters across the political spectrum. Thank you to all who took action and told Congress that our lands are NOT for sale!

However, the budget bill still passed the House, and despite removing the amendment to sell off public lands, it is still one of the worst attacks on our environment and public lands that we have seen in decades. The fate of this bill now rests in the hands of the Senate. Tell your Senators to reject the big, bad budget bill.

We’ve already shown the power of public lands advocates. Let’s keep the pressure on!!

Huge thanks to Schilling Cider for helping us keep Oregon wild!

This year, we were so grateful to partner with Schilling Cider for their third annual Keep It Wild campaign! Through a creative month-long campaign with countless great social media posts and collaborations, Schilling helped raise the profile of why protecting wild places matters to all of us....and Sasquatch!

Schilling's very generous support will make an enormous difference in Oregon Wild's ability to be an effective voice for conservation -- especially in the current climate.

Brewshed® Partner(s) of the Month: Little Beast Brewing & Xicha Brewing

EXTRA SPECIAL COLLABORATIONS

Two Brewshed Alliance partners - Little Beast Brewing and Xicha Brewing - put an extra layer of collaboration into this year's Wild & Scenic Earth Day Collaboration Series when they teamed up on not one, but two delicious beers!

The first was the Tres Carlos Pale Ale which was released at Xicha's tasting rooms last month. And the second was the Wild About Oregon Xtra Pale Ale (canned above).

Each beer is a unique take on light, extra pale ales and each pays an extra special tribute to their forested brewsheds and the clean water that makes their beers so delicious!

And to kick off this incredibly productive collaboration, Xicha Brewing hosted us for an Oregon Wild Trivia Night at their Salem location!

If any of you are interested in following their lead and hosting an Oregon Wild Trivia Night, just let us know!

OAK UNION'S OAK GROVE AMERICAN WHEAT

With so many incredible Earth Month collaboration beers out in the wild, there were ample options to choose from here. But special props to Trevor and Oak Union Brewing  for their Oak Grove American Wheat Ale.

An absolutely delicious Wild & Scenic Earth Day Collaboration beer, Oak Grove comes in one of our all-time favorite can designs - it includes a dozen of Oregon's wildlife species, a QR code to the Oregon Brewshed Alliance website, and Oregon Wild's new logo!

Prost!
