Earth Month events and brews!

April is shaping up to be a great month to celebrate Earth Day with all sorts of events and actions to take to support Oregon’s wildlands, wildlife, and waters - plus you might be getting in some final turns on the mountain or getting your garden started (depending on your priorities!). All that activity might have you wishing for a tasty beverage to relax with - preferably one that has environmental benefits. That’s where Oregon Brewshed® Alliance partners are stepping up to help!

This month, we’re excited that we’ve launched this new Brewshed® Alliance website , but even better, several brewery partners are hosting fundraising events and releasing special benefit brews for Earth Day. We hope you can join us, bring a friend for happy hour, and stock up on great beer and cider - all to support Oregon Wild’s work to protect our wild landscapes and waterways!

Schilling Local Legend cider benefits Oregon Wild all month!

Come to Schilling’s Portland Cider House for happy hour (5-7p) on Wednesday April 12th to help us kick off the second year of this Sasquatch-themed partnership that will generate huge support for Oregon Wild’s conservation efforts!

Come on down for a brew at Oakshire's Eugene pub where $1 from every pint of beer sold all day will be donated to support the Oregon Brewshed Alliance and Oregon Wild's work to protect clean water. Oregon Wild staff will be on hand from 5-7pm.

Come celebrate Hopworks Urban Brewery's 15th Anniversary and Earth Day for the 2nd annual Salmon-Safe IPA Festival. All beer served is brewed with Salmon-Safe certified hops and malts from 20+ breweries. Food, music, and other fun activities will be on hand, and $5 from each ticket goes to Oregon Wild.

Be active. Have fun. Give back. It’s as simple as that. Join the Oregon Brewery Running Series for a special Earth Day 5k fun run/walk starting and ending at Stickmen Brewing in Tualatin. A portion of proceeds support Oregon Wild’s conservation work!

Fun for all, with music, food and tasty beer, $1 from every Stash beer sold all day (2pm+) will benefit Oregon Wild & the Oregon Brewshed® Alliance.

Stop by Worthy’s pub for a good-old-fashioned community Earth Day celebration, 4pm and onward.

  • Earth Day Wild & Scenic Collaboration Beers (releases all month)

To honor Earth Day and to help raise awareness about the need to protect Oregon’s rivers and streams, ten Oregon Brewshed® Alliance partners are coordinating on a special Earth Day collaboration series to honor their watersheds with hops generously donated by Coleman Agriculture and Yakima Chief Hops. A portion of proceeds from each collaboration beer will be donated to Oregon Wild’s work to protect Oregon’s rivers and streams.
